The Jenson Button Trust was established in March of 2010. With a number of charitable causes and campaigns being close to Jenson’s heart the Trust was established in order to give as much help to as many as possible.
Over the years Jenson has supported and fund-raised for a number of charities, dedicating time away from the circuit and the F1 schedule to help as best he can with the fantastic work that they all carry out.
With all of the causes to which Jenson lends his support, the aim is always the same; to take the privileged position that being a Formula 1 driver has put him in and use that to help those that need it most.
The Trust enables Jenson to help these various charities throughout each year. With a number of fund-raising activities and events from the Jenson Button Trust Yacht in Monaco to a Jenson Button Trust team competing in the London Triathlon, the Trust will manage a consistent, annual fund-raising schedule.
Each year the Trust will select and nominate charitable beneficiaries to which the funds will be distributed.

For 2010 the Trust donated funds to the Make a Wish Foundation. Jenson has been an ambassador for Make a Wish for a number of years and is a huge fan of the work that the Foundation does.
“I first gave my support to Make a Wish because I was able to see the impact of their work first hand at one of their events. It’s incredible to see these kids and the smile that can be brought to their faces by the work of the Foundation and it’s an absolute privilege to be a part of it and to help wherever I can. Whenever I have met any of the children that Make a Wish helps I’m always totally blown away. Their outlook on life is inspirational to say the least. Every encounter is always incredibly humbling. Having the Trust in place will allow us to offer a lot more support throughout the year.”
